The Vitax SBK Brushwood Killer Ready To Use is a selective herbicide formulated to tackle tough woody vegetation whilst leaving grass unharmed. This ready-to-use 4 litre formulation is ideal for managing neglected areas where brambles, nettles, dock, woody weeds, hardwood saplings and tree stumps have become established in grassed or non-crop sites. The active ingredient Triclopyr delivers exceptional control of woody plants and is widely used for brush management on rights of way and controlled defoliation of wooded areas. It also provides effective treatment of persistent broadleaf weeds including Creeping Charlie, making it a versatile solution for grounds maintenance contractors and estate managers. For optimal results, apply between May and October when soil is moist and weeds are actively growing. Woody weeds respond best to treatment during June to August. Tree stump treatment is most effective during autumn or winter, avoiding April to June when sap is rising. Allow at least six weeks between application and any replanting work. This product is classified as an irritant and appropriate care should be taken during application and handling.
